Arctic Highlights: Brasvellbreen

Brasvellbreen is the 3rd largest glacier sheet in the world. Miles and miles of glacier ice. I was absolutely blown away by the scale and size of the glacier.

We took a zodiac cruise along the glacier and it felt so humbling to be an insignifcant speck in the vastness of the sea and the sea ice with the glacier border dominating the seas. There were hundreds of pieces of floating ice, each with their own tale of formation to the current state. The wind was cold and crisp. The sounds emating from the floating ice broke the silence encompassing us. Occasionally the thunder of the glacier followed by some caving dominated the soundscape. It was beautiful.

A profound feeling resonated: I am one with nature.
